If there is one thing in life I make sure I receive, it is good sleep. No matter daily challenges or concerns, I am always able to accomplish this based on several night-time rituals. To shut my mind down, I often sip on this healing beverage during evening devotionals. It is quite simple to make if you have the herbs at home. If you don’t, I usually find the basics at my local health food store.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk. I prefer unsweetened coconut/almond blend
1 tablespoon dried chamomile flower
I tablespoon dried passion flower
1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
Honey to taste
Method:
Add milk and herbs to a pot and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Remove from stove and strain in a cup using cheese cloth or fine strainer. If desired add about 1/2-1 teaspoon honey to sweeten. Let cool a little bit before drinking.
Sleep well! 🙂
